"It was not easy at first, but it got to be something that helped me through the roughest time of my life... surviving cancer."
How I did it: I turned to my year and what I have experienced with surviving cancer and trying to work on the road to recovery. Its a very long and hard road and I've learned and had to re-learn a few things along the way.
Lessons & tips: Don't give up. No matter how far behind you are, just keep plugging away. Things will get better. There is a point while writing when you are convinced that everything you are writing is crap... work through it and shake it off, because it will take a turn and you will get some quality out of it. Just don't give up.
Resources: The only resources were my computer, my mind, my creativity, my experiences and time. Just write. Oh and the NaNoWriMo web site.
It took me 30 days.
It made me very happy
