New Apartment, Yo.
Andy and I officially have an apartment together! Yay!
We signed papers today (he was only in town for the day, unfortunately) and can take possession as soon as August 1st, though neither of us want it that early. Which is okay, since the first month is free.
I wasn't actually expecting to sign papers today; it was originally supposed to be just his family was coming down to look at the ones we liked from our search. I think that was one of the reasons my mom was so stressed when I called her to tell her we were signing papers today. Also as I found out later she thought the price I gave her was my half of the rent, when in fact it was the whole amount. But it was a very frustrating phone call. Several phone calls, in fact, none of them particularly pleasant.
She agreed in the end, though, so I now have an apartment with Andy. :D
