Just to say have got my copy of "Northern lights" ("The Golden Compass2 to some of you) signed by Philip Pullman.
And I'm off to the wilds of North Wales with my writing course. Which is dandy, except I'm a mentor. Which means at some point I'm going to be in a position of slight authority. I'm dreading it!
I wrote Jack/Gray. I feel awful about it. Am clealry going to have to write some damned good Tosh/Kathy to redeem myself. Or actually write Jack and Ianto as being in love - never actually got around to that. Or those Tosh/Mohinder fics I keep threatening promising I'll write. Whatever. Something...
(Also, Lali has seen the first episode of Gundam Wing and thinks it laughably awful. Pointing out that there are people who view Torchwood in the same manner was perhaps not the best way to win her around)
(I'm replenishing my German by watching Ollian clips from Verbotene Liebe on Youtube. It's a lot fun, but if I watch too much of it or if I watch it too early I start thinking the people around me are speasking German at me. I just can't unhear it. I need to find a Ollie/Judith/Christian fic, too - it's probably the only way they'll ever be able to save Judith from her boy troubles)
