Standing in the right light I'm a bit warped on the inside.

Fuck-ity fuck.

Have you ever had an idea that you really hated, but just had to write? Have a fic where a character is raped when they're fifteen. I don't go into much detail about how it happened, but it gets so nasty later on as I go on about how this affects them in later life. I have never found an idea I've had so repulsive or genuinely upsetting to me. Thing is, as I've been thinking through canon events with this past in mind there a bits of it that actually make a hell of a lot of sense.

*headdesk* I really don't want to write this thing, but at the same time I really really do, because there are so many bits of canon that it would explain. And, with this characters' personality, they'd start to border on mild insanity. (I didn't quite mean for that to rhyme...)

In other news, there will be [hopefully] three fics to celebrate laligin joining the ranks of the aged. One of which will involve Jack wearing a broad Scottish accent and a leather jacket which may or not be Nine's. Also emotionally charged scene with Ianto in a rowing boat.

It's entirely possible I'm not getting enough sleep.

P.S. does the fact that I want to write Jack Harkness/grown up (but in England) Peter Pevensie make me a bad person, and could I be redeemed in any way by blaming the fact that in the book of Prince Caspian Peter has a Great coat?
