Happy Saint Patirck's day!
Anyway - having lunch with my Mum and we were talking about Torchwood and also Robin Hood. I mentioned in passing that theory (I'm sure well-known to slashers) that Will Scarlett is named thus because he may have been a male prostitute, under the impression that I had already mentioned it to her. But no - I'd mentioned that to Lali, not Mum. So had to elaborate on that and then Mum hit upon a brilliant (and brain breaking) idea;
The Merry Men, getting on in years (you were considered aged and decreped at around 50 in those times, yes? Forty meant you were getting on), with Will Scarlett played by John Barrowman.
Unfortunately, I now have visions of Jack somehow ending up in Sherwood forest (as a Time Agent, maybe?) trying to chat up various locals (Robin, Guy (think of the leather!), Marian, Vasey (if he were desperate) - Allan and Will at the same time).
I really could have done without that. Really could have.
