sigh.

Well crap.

Eh, today was okay... a lot happened... not in a good way. General overview, we went to a weird park-y place that had different attractions and rides and stuff, nothing really special, imho. And there wasn't really a theme, so I can't call it a theme park.... and it wasn't really amusing, so I wouldn't call it an amusement park. But it wasn't just a park. So whatever.

Anyway - we had a party of 10. Me, Mom, Dad and...
from my mom's side: her two older brothers, and one of their wives
from my dad's side: his sister, a younger brother and his wife & kid.

Note, people from my mom's side speak pretty much only Mandarin - people from my dad's speak Cantonese, broken Mandarin, and broken English. Whoo, communication failz.

I mean, it wasn't that bad, but everything had to be said like, 3 times in every different broken dialect (for some reason everyone decided to speak mostly in what they were LESS fluent in) before we could figure anything out. >_>;
It was frustrating enough just keeping track of where all 10 people were, but coordinating what we'd be doing was kinda blah. i mean, it worked out, and it was fun, but still... wtf.

So... bad stuff first:
I flipped a shit in front of my family again. Sigh. I was having a weird mood swing, and in my anxiety I was having a period of "DON'T TOUCH ME OR ELSE" which is common in China for me, cuz of the massive amounts of people. Well, my aunt (my dad's eldest living sister) noticed I wasn't feeling good and, despite my dad telling her not to touch me, she decided to sneak up behind me and hug me. ...... I screamed like I was being robbed. sigh. Needless to say, my dad was PISSED, I felt terrible, and I can't say my aunt was very happy with me either. >_>;
I mean, I think it's okay, cuz (after maybe 10 minutes of being alone and crying) I mustered up the ability to apologize, hug her, and be okay the rest of the day, but still... sigh.

Why do I feel like I have to try so hard to fit in with my family?

Anyway, after my little episode, the day went by okay. I had fun on some of the rides like the merry-go-round where they were playing super old music like "Blue" and that Tarzan song by Toy Box (that made me LOL so hard).
There was a kinda-neat water-stunts show that had a really confusing, asfodjiking excuse for a plotline... But the tricks were neat, I guess. Its amazing how amazed Chinese tourists are by the simplest of things though... like... a water spout. Or... white people (most all the performers for this show were white, lol).

As for hating chinese people... I still do. I was ready to fight bitches in the bathroom. I was standing in line for a stall - and there wasn't really anyone behind me and this girl just walks through, pokes at a stall door that wasn't closed quite right, but the person inside held it shut. And then came out a second later and she just walked in, and I was like, "Uh, I was standing in line here... Seriously?"
after a while, the line had grown and the stall right in front of me opened up and the girl behind me tried to take it! I seriously had to push her aside which is absolutely ridiculous. I don't like being bitchy to strangers like that, but really - Its like you can't be nice here cuz everyone else is such a jackass. >_>;

In other news, my mom is sickish - slight fever not feeling well. And we will be moving hotels tomorrow for a night, not sure if I'll have internets.

I can't wait until this trip is over. >_<; I wanna go home...
