311 and The Roots were SO. GOOD.
If you like hip hop and have never seen the Roots live, I suggest you do. Even if you don't like the music, the people watching is just as good. Examples: girls in bandana shirts grinding and booty-dropping on the stairs....white boy in polo shirt with no rhythm....random drunk (high?) people walking by dancing. It was crazy. Not to mention their music is really good.
311 was just amazing. Some highlights were SA's dancing and Nick in a wifebeater. During the drum solo they all came out with their own drums and played together...that was really cool. I wasn't a huge fan of 311 before this concert, I liked their music but never really got into them. After this concert all I wanna do is see them live again. And I will definitely buy (or burn from someone else haha) their greatest hits album that's out now.
So all in all it was a really great night and I got to spend it with my girls Kristen and Andrea :)
