Good weekend!!
Well I had a nice, slightly relaxing, work-free weekend for once!! I had both Saturday and Sunday off (although I had to bug the schedule people a lot to make sure that happened lol) and made good use of my time.
On Saturday, Jazz and I left for Plymouth around 11am to visit Kristen. We stayed at the beach till 5 then took showers and got ready for the July 3rd festivities. Kristen's friends from home got there around 7 and we all hung around drinking until it got dark, and then we headed down to the beach to watch everyone in Plymouth shoot off fireworks. Hamms got to the beach around 9 I think, not sure because I was off on a mission with Kristen's friends Jean and Taryn (sp?). Anyway we continued partying and had a grand ole time until around 12 or 1 when we all passed out in Kristen's house....that was funny cause every room was full of sleeping bodies.
Sunday we all were outta bed by 9 or 10 and went out to breakfast, it was very busy of course, and full of hungover party-goers. After breakfast it was time to leave and I thought I lost my phone so we turned the house upside down looking for it. I left for the cape very sad without it. Then I hung out in Falmouth with the fam for the rest of the day. We came home before the fireworks and I eventually dumped out my bag and found my phone (I didn't lose it after all, a classic Katie mistake). So that was a relief.
I went to bed early and that was the end of my weekend cause I worked the next 2 days.
All in all a very good weekend, I got to go to the beach, hang out with my girls, meet some really cool people, and just chill.
