In regards to todays season ending NASCAR race...
I'm trying to get excited about this race, but its just not happening.
You know what I would love to see happen?
An extremely boring race. We're talking Pocono level boring.
3 cautions total, maybe 5 or 6 lead changes.
Allowances made for Wallmending taking himself out somewhere around the 3/4 point, and with somewhere around 5 laps to go... 3 laps down, Wild Bill says .. "You know, screw this shiat" and dumps Johnson into the wall so hard his kids will need a track bar adjustment when they are born.
With three laps to go, a "phantom debris" caution is thrown, erasing Kevin Harvick's 18 second lead. In protest, he just parks his car at the commitment cone and starts throwing everything that could possibly be considered "Debris" onto the track.
Outraged with the blatant attempt to create artificial suspense, the fans join in. The race is red flagged, and the race is finally called on account of hastily assembled Brian France voodoo dolls and figures being burned in effigy in the stands, and in the infield.
NASCAR as we know it comes to an end, only to come back in 2015.
