Not that I am happy about the deaths from yesterdays collapse of the 35W Bridge......but I just read they DROPPED the number of deaths from 7 (which was an estimate) to 4. The Medical examiner only has the remains of four people.
I hope that the total number of deaths in this situation remains low. While four deaths is four too many.....if that's ALL that died....I will be very happy.
Its going to be a rough day as yesterday evening seems to be all anyone can talk about. So far everyone has been very somber about it. But if I hear anyone starting to joke about it.......they are going to get the verbal smack down from me.
People died, more were injured, some seriously. Id it really appropriate to be joking about it?? But being human (not necessarily one of the most intelligent species on the planet) its bound to happen somewhere. I just hope its not here.
