Just in case I should return, my secret letters I will leave

Another idea, another series. I can't seem to stop, but at least the flood gates are open for something. ATITM Chapter 3 - this week. Kashy's present - this week. I need to get on the ball badly. Anyway, stuff.

This is for 50 Letters and, as you should assume, there will be at least one letter or note in each entry. It's AU and starts... hm, before A Twist in the Myth begins actually. It'll eventually lead up to Kage and Kashoku meeting SG-1 and getting involved with them. Where exactly this will go is still unknown to even me. I've only got a few ideas for the later parts and some of the first entries in small summary form. This will be a fun ride though and hopefully sometime soon I'll be able to show it to others. It'll probably just be for me and Kashy for a while, but maybe sometime later I'll open it to others. Maybe. We'll see. Although if Kashy likes it, she'll probably show it to Lynn anyway. XD

That's all still quite a ways off though so here's what I do have:

The kingdoms reclaim their heirs early as the Goa'uld move in on Apophis's territory after his defeat by the Tau'ri. For a while, each fights alone, but over time the Queens begin to like one another again and a partnership is formed and set in ink. Then, from the gate emerge four strangers who'll impact the very futures of the Queen of the Thunder Grave and the Queen of the Sparkling Wood.

1. Alternate Reality
A Goa'uld moving in on Apophis's territory (Sokar) claims planet after planet. He meets resistance in Spira, but rather than destroy them all, he would rather continue assaulting them, wearing them down. Their technology is interesting and he enjoys playing with them and slowly taking away their every hope. When harm comes to Kashoku, it's decided the princesses are to be reclaimed.
The rulers of Spira have awoken. The tides will turn.

2. Alone
By order of their Queens, both kingdoms now fight Sokar. However, they do not get along and the war is three-sided. Sokar is taking advantage of this; the Lady of the Sparkling Wood knows that and writes a letter to propose a solution.
Our kingdoms must fight together, alone.

3. Weakness
Occasionally, either queen will peek in on the other's fighters. Kashoku heals Kage during a battle and leaves. They exchange letters.
We fight alone, but when we are faced with the other's weakness and have the ability to absolve it... why should we not? We are allies in this war, Kage-san. I do not lightly abandon mine.

4. Ruin
Macalania is under siege and Jylistavaka lends aid. Half is in ruin by the end, but it's better than all.
Nor do I. A life for a life, Queen.
You saved more than one life this day, Kage-san.
There was only one I gave a damn about.

5. Danger
Kashoku fears Sokar will grow bored of resistance soon. They need to strike harder. The Macalania battle proved Vampire and Shinobi and Pirate and Elf could conceivably work together. Soon they shall need to.
Danger lies just ahead, Kage-san. We must unite our people if we are to vanquish Sokar before he tires of us. Those who follow our rule with adhere to our orders.
You speak of impossibilities, Queen. Already there are those who would question me for my actions.
There will always be those who would rather they or another rule in our stead; it is up to us to show them our right to the halls of our fathers, to the throne of a King. Meet me, at least, at the bridge to our kingdoms. I would speak with you.
