Still Alive and kicking
Hey everyone! I'm still here in Iraq, alive and kicking and doing OK.
Most recent of memorable mentions, I was visited by a mouse the other night! One of our UAV's had some problems with it's engines, so maintenance was out tinkering with some of the settings, so I was sitting on a chair, reading a book - all of this is occuring outside, BTW - when suddenly I feel something on my left leg. I look down and there's a mouse, almost at my knee. We looked at eachother for a few seconds, it blinked a couple of times, and then scampered off.
That and there's Bats out here! was outside (again ^_^ ) and I could have sworn I heard birds, but when I looked up, a pair of bats flew overhead, screeching their echolocation sounds and whatnot. It was really interesting.
I'll have more .. again ... eventually o.o;;
