A childlike titter breaks free from the cobwebs

I was permitted 24 hours in this grand home in the Lower Garden District.
In the attic was this little fellow.
We named him Archipelago and brought him home after years of neglect.
He now languishes in Shreveport, Louisiana,
one of the many precious belongings that we have been unable to retrieve since Hurricane Katrina.
He waiting for us to bring him home again.
