The Mac has arrived!
i'm actually sitting here in my loft writing my very first post on a Mac. technically its not mine. the church paid for it and i will be using it exclusively for editing videos. i'm rockin' the mac daddy (no pun intended, o.k. well a little intended) of all editing programs, Final Cut Studio! on top of that i'm rollin on 2, thats right count 'em 2, dubs. in other words i'm got 2 20 inch wide screen monitors. the only thing i'm missing now is a good speaker system and the Final Cut keyboard. i haven't been able to do really anything yet. i mean i've been away most of the week and i just got them set up tonight. so far, so good. everything setup really easy and everything installed without any real problems. i'm excited and can't wait to really sink my teeth into this thing. its kinda weird being sooooo used to working on PCs for so long. i keep right clicking a button that isn't there! anyways, its like Christmas Day today!
