They wrote in the newspapers that spring is not coming yet :( What takes it so long? Just when I thought that it is getting better finally, it started to snow yesterday :( *sigh*
I was going to school by train the other day and, usually I don't pay any attention at those ticket-sellers, but this time I had a jawdrop. The guy looked like he just came out from an elf fairy-tale! He reminded a bit of Vreth, but more elfish and probably more pretty. I was blown off my feet. I had to get off at the next stop and as I was passing by the window of the staff comparment (they usually look out of the window or doors to see if all people got in), he was looking out of it, the wind was blowing through his gorgeous hair and it made him look even more elfish and even more fairy-tale-ish. The best thing to see in the morning! God, I love this country!! :D
Anyways, I am sick and skipped uni today, so I finally have some time to write an update about my weekend and Mama Trash Fest at Gloria.
The Fest took 2 days, Friday and Saturday, with a bunch of bands whom I have never heard about. On Friday I was curious to see Dope Stars Inc. and Private Line, others didn't even bother me.
We arrived when Dope Stars were playing their last song and I understood that I didn't miss out on anything. Not my cup of tea. There was still one band playing till Private Line, so we went to hang out. Now that was one freak show, seriously. Some people either have no mirrors at home or I don't know what. I mean, okay, you like to dress up all gothic, fine, but do it with style, ffs! Most of the girls looked like scarecrows. Or clearly like whores, who came there to be picked up by the members of the bands later. They were so undressed, that I couldn't help but wonder how the hell did they walk in this cold!
We just kept on laughing, especially watching the groupies running after Dope Stars Inc., when the guys came to hang around in the club. They looked really stupid and drunk (I mean the band). Their vocalist had all this glitter around his eyes, and judging by the way he looked the next day - he never got to wash himself.
Finally when Private Line came out, most of the people wanted to check them out. This was the 1st time I saw them live and I have to say that they do ressemble a lot of the young Bon Jovi.
We were standing on the crowded balcony, watching the show, when all of a sudden a guy appeared in front of me, completely closing the view, chatting with the girl standing near by. Now that was rude. I knocked on his back with my finger, he turned around to me and I waved him off with my hand (as in showed him with my hand that he should move away). It still escapes me, what exactly made him think that he should put his hand on my ass, but that's what he did and left right away. This was so unexpected that I almost jumped up. My friend started to laugh, even though she hasn't seen what he did.
Me: What are you laughing about?
She: You shoved this guy off really good, poor thing probably thought that you wanted to say hi to him.
Me: He was closing the view. Now why would I want to say hi to him?
She: Well he is kind of a superstar here.
Me: What? I have no idea who he is.
She: He is
Alex from SexyDeathAnd just as she said it, I turned my head to the right and saw that he was giving out autographs :D Puh-lease, he looks so yucky..
We left home even before Private Line has finished, because it was getting just too boring.
On Saturday I wasn't all that curious to see anyone in particular, but my friend kept on telling me about this Norwegian band Mortiis, with whom she had an interview earlier that day, so she got me curious and I decided to check them out.
They were super amazing and I am listening to them all the time now.
Such cute guys. We had to do a short photosession with them backstage after they have finished putting on their stage makeup. The guys are really cool and funny people!
I have to say that during both days it was quite empty, but when Mortiis were performing, Gloria was full, but after this most people have left. Check out their myspace, I think some of you might like this
http://www.myspace.com/mortiis1The bands who preformed the previous day were hanging out there, as well as Jyrrki 69 (whom I saw only in the beginning), Vreth, my favourtie boys from Vanity Beach and so on.
I dragged my ass home around 4am and was glad I could finally rest. I started to have a sore throat on Friday and having to shout all the time for 2 days in a row didn't really help it.
Being sick sucks!
