Soviet Moomins
As I once complained already about how ugly the Moomins are in Russian cartoon, today I learned how to do screen caps *is proud of herself* and decided to show them to you.
Muumipapa... Is it me or he looks typically Georgian??
Snuffkin (sp?).. he looks like a wooden duck, imo.
The Moomintroll himself. I have no words.. and when he smiles like that - I am scared.
And Muumimama that looks more or less ok, if not that horrible nose and the way she says some words.
I agree that some of Soviet cartoons were drawn really badly, but this is fucking horrible, imo. If Tove Janssen died earlier, I`d think that she died right after she saw how her moomins were 'modified' ...
