It was a weird, weird morning.
Got up early to go with Rachel and her friend Megan to the Hollywood Church of Christ. I've been told numerous times that Weird Al goes there, and I was excited. It was a pretty small church, but I really liked it. It reminded me of the church at the Ranch.
Anyway, kept looking around for Weird Al but he wasn't there. However, in the course of the singing, I did decide that the man sitting behind me was a very good singer. Rachel wrote me a note--He's Behind You.
He is a very good singer, actually, he's not just good at making weird songs.
But that wasn't the weird part of it.
I wasn't paying much attention for a while. Then the preacher stood up and began talking, and I recognized the lisp in an instant. DR. GIVENS WAS THE PREACHER. And he opened by talking about food and sex.
I gasped and grabbed Rachel, "That's my seminar teacher!" I hissed. She laughed.
Weird Al high-tailed it out of there as soon as the last prayer was said, but I did actually see him, at least a bit. Mostly I saw hair, because he has a lot, and it is very bushy. And he's actually shorter than I thought he'd be.
Then we left and we got in an accident but it wasn't too bad. Then we ate and now I'm here and I really need to work on my religion paper.
