Updates...

Wow, I guess it really has been about a week since I updated this thing.

Picking up from where I let off:

The gutter project is basically complete. With Kevin's help last Saturday I managed to get the remaining 2 - 10' sections installed and everything connected. Just in time too since it rained/snowed the very next day. Only one leak and that is where the gutters make a 90 degree bend. No biggie, now that it has dried out from all the ice and snow I can get up there and seal up the joints a little better. Not a perfect job by any means but all in all I'm pleased with how it has turned out.

Ran some fuel injector cleaner as well as 93 octane fuel through the Ram and it seems to be a bit happier right now. Doesn't appear to be running nearly as rough and *hooves crossed* the power steering fluid leak seems to have slowed/stopped after the addition of some stop leak to the system. At least I can delay any serious work on it for a bit while I focus my energies on the Firebird and other open house projects. Of course with night time temperatures dipping down into the teens and the highs during the day barely reaching the freezing mark I've held off on any more work outside. :P Once it gets warmer though Kevin and I will get out there and deal with finishing out the patio cover as well as the retaining wall. ^.^

Off work Monday due to the snow and ice around the city. We really didn't get all that much but it was enough to snarl traffic around the city. It just wasn't worth trying to deal with that and a 30 mile commute into the office. So we all stayed in for the day other than to take Niko out to play in the snow. :D

Tuesday and Wednesday were pretty hectic around the office since I actually had some design work to deal with for a change along with my other office duties. Tuesday night I met up with Gwaland and Max to celebrate Gwa's b'day. Had a nice turnout and it was great to see everyone and be able to hang out for a few hours.

Today is a short day for me at the office then I have to head over to our north Dallas office to meet up with some staff there to look over project files/plans that either need to be trashed or at least gone through prior to our move. We're consolidating offices as of the end of February so it's getting close to panic time. :P Really looking forward to the new office since it will put me back to having a 10 mile commute instead of 30 miles. It's going to be much easier to commute to Addison than it currently is to Grand Prairie.

Not sure what is on tap for the weekend. Gaming is on hold indefinitely due to schedule issues with one or more players. Probably going to end up just doing some stuff around the house, weather depending.

WoW Stuff:

Still slogging along. Finally got two of my guys to 85 and one of the theoretically ready to run heroic dungeons. Really hoping we get back to raiding on a regular schedule since that gave me something to focus on instead of everyone just running off and doing their own thing.

*rolls eyes* I really love how a lot of people are trying to make the shooting in Arizona out to be politically motivated. A tragedy yes but from a report on the radio this morning it sounds like the shooter was just pissed at the world and couldn't give a rats ass if the people shot were R's or D's. Funny how the media managed to figure that out and not the local police. Of course maybe this is still just a theory but sounds credible since it came from an interview with his best friend.

Safe travels to all of those who are at or heading to FC. Have lots of fun!
