The Lost Pictures
While shooting Chapters 1-4, I did a stupid and wound up deleting around a thousand screenshots I was unable to recover. These would have made up the end of Chapter 4. I wound up having to re-shoot the scene. While switching to my new computer, I found the lost scene on my old hard drive.
I don't consider this canon, but it shows a different, equally valid side of John's character (and, to a lesser extent, Laura's as well). The scene is partially captioned, but you're already familiar with the text and I didn't write the story for part of it. I was sort of playing with interactions and letting the Sims tell me where they were going. You're free to interpret it how you wish.

It was several hours later before Laura was brought in off the roof.
At first, she didn't say much...
“Laura, have you been crying?” asked John.
“No," Laura answered quite unconvincingly.
"Come on now, Laura. Don't cry."
“We need to get you home.”
(That's a godawful shot right there, huh? I'm glad I've improved some, at least.)
His fingers curled around hers.
“Don’t cry. please don’t cry. There’s nothing to worry about. She doesn’t suspect a thing.”
I don't know what she's saying here, but I'd love to hear your suggestions.
I was frustrated that I couldn't exactly recreate this shot, so I'm glad I found it for you guys.
