I had a small list of things to do today, and at the top of it was finding my car. And my keys. I managed to get home last night without either.
Um.
Drag the River were awesome, and that's not just because I was completely smashed and sitting directly in front of them. I don't think. They played an acoustic set at this seedy little bar--The Silver Dollar? The Triple Nickle? The Double Dime? Something. It's actually in the general area of Club Eden, horizon_greene. Kind of.
HOWEVER. The very best part of the evening might have been when I came to the realization that money is actually only money and you only live once and blahblahblah, and so bought tickets to see Panic! in Denver on Nov. 28th.
Wait, there's more.
I ALSO bought tickets to see Panic! in Vegas on Dec. 8th. HOLYSHIT. Which means I will be flying to Vegas before finals to rock out with mantypants and whoever else might end up going to that show.
So, not a bad birthday.
