It wasn't the prettiest, but we did it. WE WON. And I think we played better than the talking heads are giving us credit for. It's all about how "the Patriots lost the game" rather than how "the Broncos won it," but whatever. I will be watching the games tomorrow with bated breath to see who wins the Steelers/Colts match-up, because if the Steelers win that would be AWESOME. Then, they would have to come here and we wouldn't have to go to Indy.
I will have to do that in between coffee with Aaron and dinner and a movie (Memoirs of a Geisha?) with Karl. Juggling that is almost as stressful as starting the semester. Butbutbut I think Roo and I are going to Brokeback again Monday night since it's here. At the mall of all places.
So, what possessed me to take on a class that starts at 10:00 in the morning on Tuesdays and Thursdays? Also? To make my Tuesdays and Thursdays better? My other class is from 8:30-9:45 at night. And I have to commute all the way over to the ass end of town for that one too. Blech.
So . . .
Mondays and Wednesdays:
Hist 101 11:30-12:45
Office Hours (un-payed) 1-2:15
Hist 101 2-3:45
Tuesdays and Thursdays:
His 102 10-11:15
His 101 8-9:45
At least I don't have any of those 3 hour classes on Friday or Saturday like I've had in the past. Those just suck the life out of me. Not like these won't. But anyway.
OH! I wanted to ask those of you in college - do your professors use BlackBoard? If so, for what, and do you like it? Does it help?
The Nuggets also won tonight. They beat the Bucks and, once again, it was the Melo/Eddie show. The two of them are going to be the death of me.
EDIT: Random Recs.
guede_mazaka's
Demon's series. It's a Supernatural/Constantine crossover and you KNOW how I was digging Constantine a couple of months ago.
Also,
The 'No' Series, by
drvsilla. Dean/Sam. Most especially "No Complaint," and "No Other." Just extremely well written works.
And I just had a thought. Burkittsville (or howeverthefuckit'sspelled) was the town the The Blair witch, er, witched around in, wasn't it? But that was in Maryland. Or somesuch place. Still, could have been a tip of the hat. ;)
