Chief muse gone missing
...The internet really is quite a quiet place when certain people aren't around.
Hikari's off in New York til' the first of September, and I'm jealous. *wry grin* Partially because a) I've only been to America once, and that was Florida, b) because she's American anyway and therefore doesn't have to go that far to get there, and c) because my fanfic, Down the Rabbit Hole is set there, and she's seeing the place first-hand. *sighs* She promised me pictures though, and so I forgive her. Easily pleased, aren't I? ^-^
I find it coincidental that her trip off to - well, not really foreign - places occurs at the same period as my lack of inspiration. ....I think it's official she's become 'chief muse' - though I do realise I've got to come up with a much more sickeningly cute occupational name to call her simply to annoy (it's my duty as a friend). But then again, I've being going through a slight depressive thing as well - I got some important test results back and though they're technically great results for a person to get, they're not quite up to what I usually get. I...didn't like the way some of the questions were phrased in some things, and...I just generally got a bad feeling from them. (Exams don't usually faze me.)
Lack of inspiration is annoying. I've a ton of stuff to write, and I KNOW what I'm writing for them - I just can't seem to get around to actually writing. All the Now section for the next chapter of Meltdown is planned out, as is the entirety of The Tudor Rose. With a Wave of the Wand has bits written out long-hand that need to be typed up, as well as brief scenes already on the PC. It's pretty much all planned out too though - which is good, as this is an important next chapter. Down the Rabbit Hole... that's planned out too - and I've got more work done at that recently than 'ought else. And then, there are the one-shots...there's always a ton of those. And the fics not yet uploaded...
Why am I not dead from stress or overwork yet?
