This video has just officially Made My Day. Livin' la Vida Loca has just gained entirely new relevance, because it fits so well to poor Watanuki's woes and - and - I'm just laughing my ass off, period. Youtube, sometimes I love you, especially when I stumble across gems such as this after a long, irritably hot day like ( Read more... )

*CRACKS UP* OMG, thanks for sharing. XD Poor, poor Wata-pon.

Sadly, the video still raises the conundrum of what to call Watanuki's dance-wiggle-flail-woobly-spin action, because I'm still stumped. ^^;;

Eh...am busy doing fic research right now (and...downloading a bunch of kurofai doujinshi X3) - and you remember I said CLAMP hadn't made it clear whether Fai was still vamp-y after he got his magic back? I got it wrong. Yuuko explicitly states that once Fai gets his lost eye back the need for vampire blood will be negated. >>;; *slinks off again*

I thought she had, but I was too lazy to go look. XD Fic research, I know it well, I'm currently doing it myself. =x Thank God for Mangafox, all my manga are currently in a box in the garage.

And clearly, there's nothing to call that move except 'doing the Watanuki'.

Said research involved trawling through the internet in search of a picture of a magic circle and a sword for two hours. *headdesk* I just had to get distracted by the doujinshi. really. Revisited some old CCS sites that were helpful - especially for telling me that Syaoran literally translates to 'little wolf'. *happy squeaks were heard*

...Watanuki can't do the Watanuki! Because...that just sounds wrong? ^^; (Though with the amount of twins/clones running around this CLAMP-verse....)

*Cackle* But it sounds so delightfully wrong.

Yup, Syaoran translates to 'little wolf', and when his twin shows up in Horitsuba Gakuen they actually call him Syaoron with the kanji for 'little dragon'. =3 Handy and adorable way to tell them apart, no?

...Watch Wata-pon's real name turn out to be Clow as Yuuko ships mini-Clow with another mini-Clow as revenge against grown-up Clow. T___T (With pictures!)

Ahh, I knew they were called Syaoran and Syaoron, but not that it meant 'little dragon'! Oh...that's adorable. Incredibly amusing, as it's yet another version of a mini-Kuro-pii, but adorable

Think about it, it's Clow. Would he really be that disturbed, or would he just smile and say "Oh my." I am waiting for another plot corkscrew though, because Wata really looks like either a young Clow or a grown-up Eriol, and I am very suspicious that we haven't seen Eriol yet.

And that's why Horitsuba-verse threesome is so adorable. I mean, don't you ship Hotitsuba!Syaoron/Horitsuba!Yuui like everyone else?

Wata being Eriol would explain a few things, but...more mindscrew. Head hurty. (Also, what's the relevance of Doumeki's egg?)

...I only just discovered the Yuui/Syaoron shipping yesterday. I need more ficcage before I'm converted. ^_~ And someone's going to have to be pulling me away from Kuro/Fai/Yuui and Fai/Yuui kicking and screaming.

Eriol's very absence makes me more and more convinced he's going to show up in the last few chapters and provide either dues ex machina or more mindscrew. Or both. Probably both. I have a few theories as to where he's been, but no evidence for any of them. *GASP!* Maybe Doumeki's egg will hatch into Eriol!!!

*CACKLE* Twincest is so very delicious, isn't it? *Hides several RPs she's done with Crys, one of which was an AU Fai/Kurogane/Ghost!Yuui shipping*

Sadly, Yuuko herself said the egg won't hatch into anything... *sighs* We shall just have to console ourselves without Eriol-chicken.

I'm actually not a big fan of incest. But...I seem to have this weakness where pretty twins are concerned. ^^;;;; A really, really big weakness. And RPs~? *slinks over to peer at*

Sorry for the long pause there, I had to go shower, my hair was approaching grimy. XD

And I thought the egg split into two...? Yuuko said one wouldn't hatch, but gave the other one to Doumeki and implied that it would hatch when it was needed. =/ Or so I thought, anyway.

XD And I know, I'm exactly the same way. Any other incest is just ewww. I'm not even a fan of het twincest. But two pretty identical twins, and mmmm. Or maybe it's just Fai and Yuui. XD

And yes, RPs. We have a LOT of them. XD I doubt you'll ever get to see them though, they're just for our own amusement. You can ask Crys, but I doubt it.

Sorry for the pause too - I was bringing the washing in off the line.

...The egg did split in two. Yuuko gave Watanuki one egg - it hatched into Tanpopo -, and Doumeki the other, telling him to keep it on him always for 'the time'.

Perhaps there needs to be more shows with pretty twins involved somewhere, so we can experiment our liking for the shipping~~~? <3

Oooooh, okay. >.> I actually haven't read all of Holic. I need to, I knooooow, but Tsubasa's been eating my brain as it is.

And yes, I concur on the pretty twins! 8D I already know I have a slight fondness for Suboshi/Amiboshi from Fushigi Yugi, but they're not exactly stable in the head (then again, neither are Fai and Yuui XD). Aren't there a set of twins in Ouran? I wouldn't know, I've been avoiding that fandom like the plague.

*smacks msn for not giving her an email alert saying you'd replied*

..Ah! You must read the latest Holic! Watapon will make you sniffle. ;-;

And Ouran...I love Ouran. X3 But I don't actually ship Hikaru and Kaoru (the twins - one of which you can see in my icon~). *ponders this*

Is Ouran decent? (Well, obviously if you're a fan...) I've been avoiding it for the same reason I avoid a couple others, too many 13-year-olds screaming and going "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE".

The manga is better than the anime - it has more plot, whereas the anime tries to cram it all in. The manga also has more actual romance...but the anime itself is pretty good.
The series is very shoujo, what with the pretty boys and flower petals, costumes and posing, and it's got a certain type of...crazy (really crazy, crazy) to it, but I really would recommend it. It's a series to be taken with a pinch of salt, and has its angst under the overlying fluff/crack.
(Also, if you're a Fai-lover just...watch it for Tamaki. Honestly. I came to Tsubasa from Ouran, and my first thought upon seeing the character of Fai aside from lookathisprettyfanserviceback was 'it's Tama~!')
