Pokeshipping
I know this is my very own journal and I can say whatever it is I want in it but I do have severaal friends with different points of view and I really hate being rude so I'm going to keep this rant under a cut.
This rant is about a shipping from Pokemon. So if you are a devouted fan of Pokeshipping/Twerpshipping or whatever the hell else you call it please, I implore you to stay away if you are too sensitive when it comes to this subject if it is one of your favored ones.
I am so sick and tired of Pokeshipping!!!
I know some of you knew this but I was a Pokeshipper myself, it was the only shipping I could stand but I did not try to shove false information down other peoples' throat, nor did I try to "convert" others -into becoming Pokeshippers just because I liked the damn shipping.
No, I had my shipping and others had theirs, it was simple as that. I also am aware that no shipping whether it be Advancedshipping, Altoshipping, Palletshipping or others will ever happen. Ash is dead-set on becoming a goddamn Pokemon Master and has little or no interest in the opposite sex. That does not mean he's fucking gay! <.<
Now, this is the little part where I turn into an ignorant asshole...
I know there are tons of fanfictions out there with different ships but sadly, the most popular and numbered out there is the gruesome Pokeshipping fanfictions!
Why can't people just think of writing about other goddamn shippings!!! >=O
There are too many out there! And to top it all off most of them are so goddamn sappy it makes me want to throw up!
Okay, now reversing into my old-self again.
I've been watching Pokemon since the very beginning and I saw all of the Indigo league and Orange without ever missing a single episode. Johto and the rest are kinda sloppy because I lost track or something ^^;
But never once in any of the episodes I have seen, disregarding what league it is, did I ever get the hint that Ash had feelings for Misty other than "a good friend". I haven't seen any hint that Misty has feelings for Ash either. People are misreading how a girl just interacts with a friend.
If I have been with a friend for so long I would develope feelings but not those kinds of feelings and if we were to split up I would be sad too. This is what annoys me about the episode "Gotta Catch You Later".
Hello!!! You've been traveling with your friends for 3 fucking years you'd also be upset!!!! You'd miss them!
Now comes the movie all Pokeshippers worship...
The Power of One, the second Pokemon movie.
I don't even want to start but I have to get this off my chest!
-Melody gives Ash a kiss on the cheek, Misty suddenly blushes. I don't know what the fuck that was about and I don't give a shit!
-Melody mocks Misty by calling Ash her boyfriend. I'm pretty damn sure, my eyes and ears work just fine but she was disgusted with the mere thought and we're not talking about a pair of 6 year olds who are afraid of "cooties" from touching a boy or a girl.
If you really had feelings for a person you wouldn't act like a fucking 6 year old who's afraid she might get the "cooties" by touching a boy.
-Misty saving Ash from the water when he fell. Uh-huh yeah, so if I see a guy drowning I can't save him because then people will think I "love him". Wake up! She saw her friend was in trouble so she ran to his rescue, it's human nature to help others in need!
-Misty's famous quote "He'll always have me". Bullshit! Friends are there for each other! I back up my friends and they back me up, it doesn't mean I'm in love with them! If that be the case then I must be really in love with Steph, Mario or Angela because if something or someone was bothering them there would be hell to pay! >=O
So if you really pay attention to this movie you'll see there aren't any hints!
Oh and let's not forgoet Ash's famous quote from Jirachi: Wishmaker...I forgot how it goes but immediately all Pokeshippers pointed to Misty in a romatic gesture. I'm not so sure about this but there were some people who said that the DUB was made out to say that and in reality (RAW) he said something else.
You spent three years on the road with your friends, going through hell and high water to get to where you are today yet along the road you had to break the group up and go your own way. Yes, you would miss them!!! You'd miss your friend of three years, any one with human feelings would!
That's all fine to have your favorite shipping, I have mine and my friends have theirs and I completely respect that but please don't shove your favorite shipping down others' throats. It's annoying and causes people to gradually hate the shipping. That is how I decided to really hate the damn shipping. People were and are taking this ship way too serious and along the way provide no evidence to back it up with.
Those points I mentioned earlier as you can see I broke them into what they really are. There's no hidden relationship between Ash and Misty. Why the fuck would there be? If in an anime there is going to be a pairing they wouldn't eliminate said character and in a long anime such as Pokemon they would have made Ash and Misty make a move long ago.
I stopped liking this ship because of said assholes, I saw how they harrass people and take it too serious. The shippings I like I find cute, THEY WILL NEVER HAPPEN! I just happen to find Altoshipping, Advancedshipping and Imiteshipping very cute but I don't take it serious and do not shove them down other peoples' throats!
Just please ease up on the shipping and respect others' opinions and stop trying to "prove" that "X" shipping is real. You'll make other people very happy.
