Summary: Life's many problems affect many people as we know it today. Will Ryosuke and Yuuto prevail over their past or is there more than meets the eye? Will Daiki and Chinen save one another during a time of need? Will friendship be broken up and lost as the days go by? A story will be forever remembered only by you.
Chapter 1 - The Encounter
“Simon! Wait up! You’re going too fast!” said James who was running behind with bags in his hands.
“Slowpoke, you really can’t do much without me can you?” Simon chuckled as he helped pick up some of the luggage.
“Now don’t wander too far. Our flight to Guangzhou will be in a few hours. So don’t go running around Narita Airport too much, okay?” commanded our grandmother.
Both of us put down our luggage at the gate and ran over to the shops that we saw on the way. When we stared at the prices, our mouths dropped.
“Man… economy is bad nowadays right? Look at this! ¥500 for just a package of food… That is crazy!” I shouted.
My little brother didn’t bother noticing the prices and just took whatever he saw on the shelves to look at. I looked around and decided to explore the airport a bit, but then I remembered I had to tell my little brother to go back to watch our grandmother. He left shortly happily skipping around while I walked around a bit. Then, I noticed two people running towards me, but my reaction time was so slow that one of them crashed crashed into me.
Both of us recovered quickly and saw the mob at the back. I noticed a small hallway that led to an isolated area, so I got up quickly and pulled the other person inside and the other followed in as well. I watched carefully to make sure the mob ran past the hallway and closed the door quietly.
“You really have to watch where you’re going! This is an airport, not a playground,” I scolded the people who appeared to be boys about the same age as me. The boy stared back at me as if he was staring into space.
“すみません。英語がわかりません。” said the younger boy.
I was like… wait… where have I seen this person before…
“He said, “I’m very sorry. I don’t understand English.” Sorry for causing so much trouble,” said the other boy who had an English accent. “My name is-“ said the boy.
“I REMEMBER NOW!” I interrupted and shouted with joy. They were Morimoto Ryutaro and Okamoto Keito from Hey! Say! JUMP! Talk about lucky day!
“Oh? You heard of us? I’m not that surprised, but we aren’t that well known,” admitted Keito.
“Not known? You are pretty know to me! I mean, look at the crowd earlier. You’re saying your not known, that is so not true.”
“えと。わかりません。” said Ryutaro who looked confused at the conversation. Keito translated everything we said in the past minute back to Ryutaro and Ryutaro smiled and replied, “はじめまして。わたしわ森本龍太郎です。”
That I understood after reading Japanese greetings on the trip here. I replied with, “I’m Simon. It is a pleasure to meet you too!” Then I remembered Ryutaro can’t speak English so I tried to say it in Japanese…
Keito and Ryutaro laughed. “Your Japanese isn’t all that bad. I’m guessing you learned it in school?”
“No, I’m self teaching myself. It is kind of fun… But I envy how Japanese people memorize all those characters…” I replied and scratched my head.
“It is all in the repetition. You’ll get the hang of it soon enough,” chuckled Keito. He looked up at the clock. “Shoot! We’ll be late for our flight to Hokkaido! Nice meeting you Simon! Thanks for saving us back there!”
“No problem! I’m happy to have met you both! It’s been a pleasure chatting,” I replied with a smile.
Ryutaro had a smirk on his face and grabbed a piece of scratch paper and wrote down something and ripped it in half. He tugged on Keito’s sleeve and pointed towards the paper. I was wondering what he was up to.
“He wants you to give us your email address apparently. Here is his and I’ll add mine as well. You can keep in contact with us through there. However, please don’t go around giving it out to people. If that happens, I’ll have to change my email address again and so will Ryutaro,” said Keito sternly.
“You can count on me. I’m free to talk to if you need to get a break from work or just want to relax and chat for a bit. I’m going to China, so I might not have internet, but I’ll see what I can do,” I smiled and wrote down my email address.
Ryutaro looked down at the email and laughed saying, “まんじゅですか。”
I turned red and replied, “Yes, my favorite anime character is a manju… That is where my email originated from.”
Ryutaro and Keito both cracked up, but stopped when they looked around and saw people glaring at them for causing a scene.
“I’m sure we’ll meet again. Good bye for now!” exclaimed Keito.
“Bye bye!” said Ryutaro waving and smiling.

I walked back with the slip of paper to the gate where my grandmother was.
“What took you so long??” my little brother demanded with an evil look on his face.
I just ignored him and sat down placing the piece of paper in my pocket and waited for the plane to arrive at the gate. I’ll never forget that encounter with them. This was the start of a new story, and a new adventure.

Phew... That took a lot of imagination power. Yeah, I agree the first chapter is a bit slow, but since I'm adding myself, I have to know them right? So, I'm basing this off the trip to China at the end of the month. Though I would wish so much to meet them, this is only a fanfic. xD I won't say what pairings will be in this, but I asure you, you won't be disappointed in this one. It is mainly on HSJ as you can see, and I set it up pretty well. If there were any Japanese phrases used, they will usually come with a translation after it probably either from a translator or I say so myself since I actually know it. But if there are any errors to the Japanese phrases, I'm sorry since I'm not used to typing with Japanese and cannot read that well just yet. I hope you all enjoy the first chapter of this fanfic and tune in for more later! xD *goes rests and grabs math homework + study* T_T
