Pretty good week, except for taxes that is.
Well things have been pretty quiet around the Inn over the past week. JT and Sera have been on their best behavior. When not at school, they come straight home, and have been staying in the rooms. If their able to stay out of trouble for a little while longer, I will drop the grounding. But I do hope they've learned a lesson to not do something that they know is wrong, no matter how good it may feel at the time. Cause is always consequences for every choice one makes. So is the best to make the right choice in the first place to avoid problems down the road.
Anyway, I'm gonna try to do a better job myself, need to be a better role model. Provide them with the support they need, but also with more supervision and guidance.
Onto another even less pleasant subject. Finally got my taxes done. Which really put me into a pretty Grr! Arrgh! mood. Can remember when there wasn't any income tax. Was allot simpler times back then. But over the last many decades, taxes is one thing that never dies, just gets worse and worse over time. Yet I try not to think about it. Just glad to have them done for another year. Will worry about them again when tax time rolls back around again next year.
Well guess I'm going to call it an early night. Over the weekend may head over to the Bronze to see how my friends are doing. Haven't been there in a weeks. Actually haven't seen many of my good friends in a while. I would suggest a party, but based on the recent party disasters. Guess will just stick with emailing or sending letters to friends. Is alot less stressful. Well I just hope things go good in the days and weeks to come. Really could use some good times for a change.
