As far as I've heard, red tends to hurt more for some reason, but there shouldn't be any reason why colour hurts more. And inside of the wrist would hurt because of the veins and more tender skin.

I don't have my wrists done but I do have my inner forearms tattooed and I was surprised how littel, compared to other, they hurt. But for wrists you have to remember there are veins and tendons and they ALWAYS hurt a lot. buuuut in saying that, after a couple of minutes you really do stop feeling it. Your nerves kinda shut down and it feels like you're being drawn on with a vibrating pen.

The thing with colours vs black ink price wise, is that colours often have a harder time taking than black does so they have to go over it and redo some tatts in colour. But you know, it night take wonderfully on your skin. You just don't know.
