Yeah, Vanilla Sky was ok, but I liked Open Your Eyes much more.
I enjoyed Head On more than In July, mainly because I am not a huge fan of comedy's. I wouldn't mind seeing more of Akin's films though.
I find Waters to be a bit of a hit or miss director, some of his movies just don't appeal to me, sure they are good but yeah, not my style. I do own Pecker (because of Edward Furlong and Christina Ricci :@) and Serial Mom, and like them though, and I loved Cecil B Demented. The others I have seen I didn't like much. Apart from Selma Blair in A Dirty Shame, mainly cause I am in love with Selma Blair.
i thought a dirty shame was hilarious. pink flamingos was okay, a bit weird for me (shouldnt i expect that from waters though?). i really want to see more of akin's work. we just happened to watch these two in my german film class. i cant wait to see more. do you like german films?

i already own Head-on and love it. have you seen In July? if not you must! same director and it is funny and amazing.
