BABY YAYA!!! :)
Tomorrow I'll be picking up my new baby kitten. Well she's not that new...she's 2 months old and weighs 2 pounds. She's a very special gift from a very special person which makes this new venture into being a mama for the baby kitten that much more enjoyable.
What made me decide to get a kitten??? WELL I had been cat sitting for the special person at my house and I missed having her cat here once she had come to pick her up. It was fun to have the cat around...so I had been thinking about it for a while. Of course I have some fears about being an animal owner...but I with some support I'll be alright. The whole story about how we picked the kitten that we picked is an interesting one. I'll post that later once I bring her home tomorrow and take some more pictures. YES..I already have pictures of her in my phone...it's started!! :) So at some point, I'll share pictures of baby Hey Ya "YaYa" September!! :) (one of H's favorite songs and my birthday month...as YaYa is my early birthday gift)
The preparation has been pretty interesting too. As if I were going to bring home a human baby...but in some ways it's pretty similar. Minus the 9 months and hours of labor...AND no diper changing, bottle feeding...OKAY so it's not that similar...but I didn't have to go shopping for some goodies and did some extra cleaning for her homecoming. She'll be right out of surgery, so not really anticipating her running around and doing a whole lot of jumping, but it's still nice to come home to a clean place. I'm sure it's better than the concrete box she's in now.

Now to try to get some sleep! :)
