Back From Break!
For those of you who are my long time readers, you know that I usually take two breaks throughout the year. I found that I needed that break a little earlier and a little longer than I had anticipated. I am glad to say that I feel much more well-rested both mentally and physically and am slowly easing myself back into writing. I hope to have some Harry Potter chapters uploaded in July, especially with Deathly Hallows: Part 2 coming out on July 15. ^_^
Since that will be my main focus this month, I'm hoping to finish one chapter in both Assassin's Creed and in Dragon Age II before that happens.
On the book front, I've been reading George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series - it was a series that I reluctantly started after I finished watching the 10-episode Season 1 of Game of Thrones. I say reluctant, because I've started so many giant fantasy/huge novel series (like Sword of Truth) only to hate it half-way through and not finish. The only one I really have stuck with is Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time and Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan series along with Robin Hobb's Realm of the Elderlings.
TV front, catching up on Castle, watched Game of Thrones, and am hoping that The Borgias comes out on DVD soon so I can rent it. Video game front, been playing a resurregence of Halo: Reach, plowing my way through the large amount of games I need to finish before October rolls around for the fall gaming season - Alice: The Madness Returns, Crysis 2, Portal 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Bioshock 1 and 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum... Though I am seriously considering returning Fable 3 since it is probably one of the few games that I was horribly disappointed in. Oh wait, I also need to finish my Insanity run in Mass Effect 2, and 2nd playthrough on Dragon Age II...argh!
