It's true, soon I move to Louisville, KY
Most anyone who reads this will already be aware that I have accepted a new job in Louisville, KY with a, well, I'm terming it a re-startup software company. I'll be moving down there by the end of the month and putting the house on the market very soon (hopefully within a week). I will be taking Vash and Chani with me, Himedahl goes to his mom and Mabel going to Grandma's house in TX where it will be nice and warm for her.
Now, optimally I'll only be down in KY for 2-3 years and hope to make several trips back up to the MSP area to visit friends and family. After 2-3 years I'm hoping that my home base won't matter too much since I plan to be doing a lot of traveling and can meet virtually when needed.
For those wondering what I'll be doing, I'm going to head up the Installation and Support teams for a company which makes a pretty cool database search and reporting tool. It's our goal to make it easier for anyone with data find information and gather reports from that information in an easy to use manner really unlike anything else that is out there.
More word on that when I'm actually doing it.
I'll try to keep folks updated through here a bit more regular like since I know some people only here about stuff this way.
