Hey its been a really long time since I posted anything so I took some time out from studying Bioinformatics to relax and catch up on my Japanese music.

Well it was pretty much a live video interlaced with parts where it looked like they were bored out of their skulls in some sort of waiting room. I liked the song. I tend to prefer female vocals in the lower registers but the video was kind of annoying...too many facial closeups (too close for a closeup)...

Oh look...its Evangelion...was this song on the soundtrack for the remake or is this a fansub? Hmm...meh I didn't like that anime. Waaay to neurotic for my tastes. The creator totally had a nervous breakdown and the plot lost all semblence of logical connections. Oh ya this is a review of the song...it was OK....nope nothing more to say.

Ok I like the song, even if I can't understand a word he's saying...It does vaguely sound like English though. Also true to Miyavi he looks absolutely ridiculous...is it like white blond hair, with a black and pink dreadlocked pony tail?! No wonder he's wearing the baseball cap...Hey look, he's also lost his posse. There's just the random guy wearing a fishbowl like black helmet on his head and holding a sword, doing ....absolutely nothing. Oh wait...nevermind there was nothing in it...guess he had to start building his own friends once his posse disappeared. :P

I find this song vaguely annoying...guess its just not my favorite of their stuff. In terms of the video the red haired guy sticks out like a sore thumb which felt odd. I was trying to figure out what was going on in the non-band scenes too...but since it was mostly just scrolling through the band members I don't think I figured out the "message"...uh there was a kid crying outside by himself with a gun? and the sun went down. Was it "Oh no I'm afraid of the vampires but Pa put me outside anyway for not eating my vegetables...?" Eventually he says screw it and goes back in. Hmmm if my Japanese wasn't so rusty perhaps I would have known what was going on from the lyrics.

Ha yes churchy sounding title which is what I would associate with Hyde...though I can't remember if he's religious or not. Wow I'm out of touch with my JRock/Pop general knowledge. Meh. It features Hyde and bandmates walking alone through a variety of backdrops. Pretty shiny backdrops. You can tell when bands are getting older when the members start looking severly airbrushed. I don't understand why they try to avoid the "life lines" since being older doesn't make em any less cool. Besides who wants a 40+ year old that looks 12?

Cool hair and hat though Gackt is...just...seizing? Well at least he's bouncing in time with the music...sort of. He never was the strongest dancer. So a kid snuck in to see the concert that he was supposedly not ready to see (or so the black guy said at the beginning). He's reaching longingly towards Gackt when the security system kicks in and picks him out of the crowd for increased body temperature...uhm....WHAT? Is Gackt trying to channel Michael Jackson? Then I totally didn't get the ending. What happened?

OMG!!!! Atsushi looks vaguely pissed/tragic standing holding his red balloons and roses. They've got a long dining table, a girl who alternates as walking backwards, dancing, sitting in a wheelchair and on fire. Was there an accident? Wait how did the umbrella get on fire? The band mates look kind of...dead. Are they trying to be "dark" or are they at a funeral and depressed? I can't tell.

OK again I love Buck-Tick but I think I like the other song better. This one is still good though. The chorus vaguelly reminds me of a sports cheer though. Dunno why. I love the band's dancing too it's just quaint. :P OK gladiators fight over a woman, until one wins and he decides to kill her? Is that a woman? Some times "she" looks vaguely masculine...LMAO oh look they say its the Japanese ending theme to Galactica season 2. Yes folks that is Battlestar Galactica. HA. Maybe I should watch it in Japanese, maybe I'll get farther.
