Pool or no pool... playing what if?
My mother's swimming pool has developed another leak. We suspect it is in the piping. I suspect the pipe that runs to the circulation nozzle near the deep end step since the water stopped leaking out of the pool just below that point & the concrete has been slipping away from the pool at that location. (It's about an inch away from where it was when it was laid.) ...So depending on costs, costs of projected future problems, and the projected amount we'd be using the pool or not... the pool may (or not) have seen its last days last summer. On the up side, if we lose the pool: we gain more space for my nephew to play.
So, playing what-if, I took a photo of the pool & edited it to see approximately what it looked like if we filled the pool in with grass (and maybe a small tree or shrub).
