so I put a collar on the kitten...
...and now she is writhing around on the floor in what appears to be a mixture of "get this collar off me" and playing with it.
At some point I should try with a collar that actually fits her, this one is much too long, but I thought I'd see how she'd respond to it since she was attacking where it was hanging on a peg in my room.
If nothing else, since there is this mixture of play, it does distract her from attacking my feet. (The collar has a bell and rabies tag on it, so it jingles.)
...Now she's attacking my shoe-laces (thankfully not on my feet).
