This is what happens when Life with a Capital L gets in the way....
Wow...so sorry guys! I didn't realize it had been THAT long! I'll try and get a recap in while I catch up here, but there will be a lot of gaps. January was not a good month in some ways, in others, it was *really* good. But the biggest news is..well, ok, there are three good qualifiers for that title. 1) I'm no longer living in downtown Portland, 2) NFG is now back to kinda sorta eye candy, and 3) MFL is now MY Lead & and I'm on a new program which I seem to be doing VERY well on. There's a #4, but I'll get to that one when I'm done with the first three. I won't go into details, but there was a big dust up with me and the management of the place where I was living, and the upshot of that is, I'm now living in a suburb of Portland, closer to my work, with my best friend from high school and her family. Hey, it was cheaper than where I was living, and it includes *Everything*, including access to Netflix and Wii. And it's a lot less stressful. There are even 2 cats (Crystal and Patch, sisters) and a black Lab dog, Angie. It's good to be around critters again...
NFG...well, either I screwed up or he's just a pretty idiot. I gave him a small bag of chocolate for Christmas, and here it is almost 4th of July, and I have yet to get a "Thank You", let alone an acknowledgement. So THAT's done with, and no, there's no one at work who is interesting enough to go for,so, yeah, the love life is DOA. Again. Still. Something....
Back in January, I got trained for a different program at work, and then got switched to it full time. Shortly after that, they shuffled everybody to different teams, and I wound up on MFL's. team. She ASKED for me, which really made me feel good. And ever since, I've been doing MUCH better at work
One last bit. I've got a new favorite show, but my favorite actor in it is someone I've adored for a long time. the show is the reboot of "Hawaii 5-0" and the actor is Alex O'Loughlin. I have adored that man since "Moonlight" (Don't look so shocked. I've always said the ONLY vampire I ever liked was Mick St.John), but because of my crazy work schedule, I wasn't ever able to see him in "Three Rivers", then I lost track of him, until a friend mentioned H50. I caught an ep back in January and I've been hooked ever since. So if I gush about him in here, deal with it. It's been a long time...
That's about all that's worth putting down in here for now. I'll TRY to write more often from now on, but no promises..
