Another Wednesday Already?

Swamped with work. Repressing rants.

Today's minuses:

1. Brought my notecards and rulebook with me so that I could make quick-reference index cards for my new spells. (My D&D character just leveled up, and I'm an organized nerd. I have all my frequent-use spells - especially the combat ones - copied out onto index cards.) However, I was in ( Read more... )

Does Subway dip the apple slices in something to keep them from browning? We often get the apple slices from McD's for The Cheat, and they dip them in what I presume is some type of citric acid to keep them from browning. It makes my mouth feel like I have deodorant in it. =(

I've never tried Tintagel, I don't think. Usually cinnamon is too much for me, but I bet I have an imp someplace I can try out. El Dia de Reyes is my Christmas scent. Though this year I also have the spare of Gelt I bought last year. =)

The baby starting to move was kind a trippy for me. I still wake up sometimes in the middle of the night swearing I just felt The Cheat do a somersault in there, and it's been more than four years since that was even possible.

(I hate grabbing the wrong spellbook. And sale sweaters = awesome.)

Huh, that's a good question about the apple slices. I have no idea. I've gotten plenty of sub-optimal apples from there, too, so it may just have been the luck of the draw.

I haven't tried El Dia de Reyes. Though my wish list is long enough... I shouldn't go tempting myself...

(ZOMG! Your icon! It is the bestest! Now all I need is to find someone willing to put a festive bow on a badger, and take a picture of it. That may prove challenging.)

I tried Tintagel and didn't like it, so I sent it in an enabling package to a friend. El Dia de Reyes 2009 will probably end up being (one of) my Yule scents, if the decant circle ever gets delivered...

(hurr bpal love so much omg)

the_original1's mom was in her senior year of college when she was pregnant with him. She says she would sit in her classes, and everyone in the room could watch her belly move, particularly in drawing (fine arts major), when she'd have her drawing pad resting on her belly.

Have you experienced fetal hiccoughs yet?

How do I know the difference between baby hiccups and just random kicks? A friend of mine told me it's awesome and hilarious but I just don't know how I would tell.
