25 ★ you found a place between the lights
TORCHWOOD TRAILER OMFG.
So I've rewatched it about 10 times so far (NOT ENOUGH YET) and it's amazing. Running, tick, explosions, tick,... Jack/Ianto moment, tick. YUP. Got exactly what I wanted, and more! It's put me in such a good mood. I watched it when it was released at 9PM last night, and then I had a nightmare last night (probably because of the trailer, actually, Torchwood freaks me out and I love it), but I woke up this morning and I was just SO HAPPY. I like rushed to my laptop to watch the trailer again.
Anyway, I just have to mention this first: when at the very end of the trailer, the 'Torchwood: Children of Earth' thing come on and the background music comes to an end, am I the ONLY PERSON who seems to hear the word 'June'? You know, that creepy voice? Is that just a random creepy noise or can anyone else seem to hear 'June'? Maybe S3 is coming out in June? Idk. AM I BEING COMPLETELY DELUSIONAL.
Holy crap these scenes are flashing by so fast, I just have to keep pausing every single second. Especially that horrible scene at 0:56 oh god I know that's Jack, it has to be Jack. That is just... horrifying. His scream. Ughhh. The more I stare at it, the more I want to throw up. Plus concrete. Plus body bag. EWWWW. The body in the body bag really reminded me of Countrycide and how ridiculously terrified that episode made me feel. But then, it wasn't really the blood and gore in Countrycide and about the body bag that freak me out, since I'm not at all squeamish, just the thought... of. Idk. Cannibals, and being burnt alive. PAINFUL. Oh my god I feel so sorry for all the shit that Jack's going to have to go through in this series. PLEASE MAKE THE JACK!TORTURE STOP. But then, better him than anyone else, since he's the only one who can survive through all this. I'm pretty sure both Gwen and Ianto are going to live through this series. They can't make another team member die so quickly. I STILL HAVEN'T GOT OVER OWEN AND TOSH YET, DAMMIT.
Oooh, 8:40am is when all the children stopped? Dying, that's when lessons start at our school. :D And that makes me wonder what they mean by every single children in the world. I'm assuming under-13's or maybe even younger, since the children in the trailer all looking pretty young, and I guess once you're over 13 you're a teenager. And you know when the names of places pop up on that screen, they're all only places in Europe, right? Dies. I wonder if they really really mean every single children in the world or not. But that's not important.
I don't actually find the children that creepy. Not in the trailer, anyway. I'm sure they'll be more creepy in the episodes with creepy background music playing and all that. But in the trailer I actually wanted to laugh the first time I watched it when I saw the children saying 'we... we are... we are coming'. Idek. >> Strangely just now when I watched the little boy running through the fields I was like HARRY POTTER. I have no idea why. It's to do with some of the HBP trailers, I believe. Running through fields.
Quite a lot of theories about the warehouse scene... I'd quite like to believe that it has something to do with Myfanwy again, since I'm pretty sure that's the same warehouse... (Though of course, a lot of warehouses do look exactly the same.) If this has nothing to do with Myfanwy, would they just pretend it's a completely different warehouse, or would they mention the time Jack and Ianto caught the pterodactyl here? That scene in Fragments was one of my favourites, after all. :| But I hate the bloody blue T-shirt that Jack seems to be wearing on this scene. Please tell me that Jack gets his coat back.
I love crazy old men. I really do. This crazy old man looks like he'll be playing an extremely important role. Awesome! I'm looking forward to it. Also, is that a fake!PM?
Although Gwen does look pretty kickass, I burst out laughing the first few times I saw the scene from like 0:35 - 0:37. I don't know why. I just find it so spastic the way she kind of... waves her arms. >> The bit where she jumps out of the ambulance with two guns somehow made me laugh a little too. I DON'T KNOW WHY. It's awesome! Gwen's awesome! I really do like her more and more and more every time I rewatch bits of Torchwood. It's just... it looks even worse on screencaps. The screencaps of her jumping out of the ambulance just look... so weird. Somehow. There's something really off about it.
I LOVE THE TORCHWOOD THEME SO MUCH. God it's so exciting! I squee'ed when I heard it come on at like, 0:49. Soon after Ianto's brilliant line: "Unappreciated ones". AWWW IANTO. You know we all love you. ♥
And Jack/Ianto kissing! Yay. Very desperately passionate. Two different theories about this kiss: either a 'goodbye I am now going off to face danger and I might die' kiss, or a 'OMG YOU'RE STILL ALIVE THANK GOD'. I'd somehow prefer it to be the second one, but what with the coat and stuff... I think it's the first. If it were the second, it'd probably occur after Jack gets burnt alive or whatever, so he wouldn't have his coat? Idek. Jack has a weird coat on though. It's not usually that colour, is it? It seems to be lighter here. Ianto's skin looks really pale. And almost blue-ish around his jawline, and then his ear is SO PINK. Dying can you tell I've rewatched this scene a billion times and paused on it a lot too? :D
The first thing that caught my eye the first time I watched this trailer was the cut on Ianto's cheek...... I am not sure why. And I am really, really fixated on JB's eyes in this trailer. OH MY GOD THEY'RE SO BEAUTIFUL. And blue. And beautiful. *_______*
Loved the very last bit of the trailer with the gunshot and the splatter of blood (at least that's what I think it is? ... but it's kind of green) on the window-thing. I don't know why, but I just love it.
Anyways that's enough fangirling. :D Lol by now I think I've watched it about 30 times. >> Now, just BLOODY TELL US THE AIR DATE PLEASE.
