So I'm already rewatching bits and that scene in the TARDIS where River and Amy ask Eleven to trust them really, really gets me. Eleven feels... off in that scene with River. I don't think I've ever seen him like that and I don't know whether I think it makes sense or whether it's out of character but it's unsettling either way.
This. I wrote about this in my review. He just seemed creepily not himself. Very condescending and just...mean. I didn't like it.
Yeah, I'm in the middle of writing a comment to your review but I have to go now so I guess I'll be posting a comment later! :D (Reading your review I realise I completely forgot about the pregnancy in my review, lol, I'll add something about that later.)
i pretty much agree with everything you said in regards to the doctor who episode. i couldn't contain myself the whole way through. FLIRTING, CREEPY ALIENS, SADNESS. what else do i even need in life? hahaha. but yeah, i didn't really emotionally react to the doctor's death either, because obviously it was all going to be okay. and the river & rory scene was rather touching in a sad way. i actually had my hand over my heart when river was talking haha. the only bit that did make me go "oh" in a not-so-good way, was Amy's pregnancy announcement. probably because i don't want her to be pregnant, not yet anyway. well, i feel like i've just kind of repeated everything you've said, making this comment a little pointless, but oh well. i'm excited to read people's opinions. i don't want to post too much on tumblr in case i spoil those who haven't seen it yet.
I definitely don't want Amy to be pregnant just yet either, but I knew that announcement was coming because of all the speculation that I read beforehand-- most people thought she was going to be pregnant. Moffat says a lot of the story will revolve around this pregnancy so I'm hoping that he does something awesome with it and it's not an actual pregnancy. Moffat's always brilliant with the mindfuck. :'D
I know, I'm loving reading reviews and all the speculation and trying to decide what sounds the most plausible. The best thing ever during S5 was after Flesh and Stone when everyone was like OMG LOOK AT THAT SCENE WHEN THE DOCTOR COMES BACK TO AMY AND HE'S WEARING HIS JACKET AGAIN OMG HE'S SO A FUTURE!DOCTOR and then it was true in the end! GOD I LOVE WATCHING A SHOW AND SPECULATING WHILE IT AIRS.
Yes, I'm firmly in the Klaine camp. I'm one of those silly Klainers who think that Klaine will get a happily-ever-after even though according to canon, they're essentially each other's first boyfriend so it's unlikely a high school relationship like theirs could last forever but I'd like to think it does. :') I think the moment Blaine appeared I kind of just swooned like Kurt and there was no going back. I'm hopeless
