So, I've been thinking about doing this, and then postcardmystery posted something similar, so hey, here we go:
PROMPT ME
I know I've been really shitty with filling prompts for the past few years, but I really want to try harder this year. Here's my promise: I will write you something, if you give me a prompt. It may not be any longer than a couple hundred words and, seeing as it's already the 23rd, it most probably won't be done by Christmas, but it will exist, hopefully within a few months.
So give me a prompt. I work best with photo prompts, in the style of these kinda things, but I also welcome any other kind of prompt. Lyrics, poetry, an unusual word, all that. If you're requesting fandom fic, give me a pairing, too. Or, you know, a character or characters, if you're looking for gen.
Fandoms include: Sherlock Holmes ('09 and BBC), Doctor Who, Misfits (I've watched all the episodes now so don't worry about spoiling me), Merlin, Harry Potter, Lip Service. Or anything else you might've heard me mention around here. (Achilles/Patroclus, anyone? I've only just read a tiny bit of The Iliad, but I've read pretty much all the A/P fic I can find, and I have an inkling of an idea for a fic already. And if anyone's feeling nostalgic I have a feeling I may still be capable of producing a bit of Akame or Hayato/Ryu.)
By the way, I'm actually thinking about writing some '09 Holmes set in Fallen London, so if you wanna request a scene from that verse, FEEL FREE.
I'd also be totally happy with writing original slash or femslash, if anyone wants some. :D Gimme characters, situations, a snippet of dialogue, anything-- and I'll try to run with it.
(And if anyone writes me any Sherlock fic to do with Harry I WILL LOVE THEM FOREVER.)
