Hello weary adventurers of Vana'diel! Welcome to my journal of tales past and present, of bravery, heroism, persevera-- ah, who am I kidding?
Alright, so I've realized that I'm far too long-winded in FFXI, so I've decided to follow the path of those before me and write a journal of my FFXI experiences. It might not be Rukenshin's LJ, but at least it's something right? Besides, it gives me a decent way to waste time at work, especially these days when I don't eat lunch.
Although this journal will be mostly in-game stuff, nothing in-game is without influence from real life, so I'm sure I'll be sharing some bits and pieces of both here. Still, the primary audience is FFXI players so I hopefully won't bore everyone with every little happening in my day-to-day existance. ;-)
Let's see, where to begin? In case we've never met, my name is Shadida (well, my character's name is, anyway) and I presently reside on the Seraph server. I've not always been there, you see - I had been a citizen of Sylph server, but for several reasons decided I would migrate to a different server in pursuit of new opportunities and adventures. Not the least of those reasons was to apply to and join the ranks of a linkshell which I've long admired, BeyondTheLimitation, which has kindly accepted me as a new member. I'm very satisfied with the switch.
Still, one thing I'm sure everyone in-game has noticed by now is what a motor-mouth I can be, and I fear it's frustrating a lot of people. (Not to mention me being kinda a jerk lately, but more on that later.) So I think posting here will be a good way to share information with anyone who actually cares to read it, and maybe even some people I wouldn't normally have the chance to communicate with.
