Well of course not, you have to sleep some of the time!

I always think it's interesting what people think of as "networking," to begin with though. In a lot of people's minds I guess it's talking to someone who can get you a job, but for you it's talking to anyone who might read your stuff and become a fan. The article probably says exactly that, I didn't read it yet. But yeah.
