Let's talk shadows....

Right. So, I touched on this in my stats and permissions, but I should probably put this as it's own separate to-do ( Read more... )

Likely both of mine will notice. Morrolan will have more difficulty, but he's likely to ping that something's there, and then kick in heavy divination. He won't mention it if he notices Akira-as-human. Stiaan is kind of ridiculously perceptive and also lolnothuman himself, so. He may be curious.

Hmmm.

Let's go with Nita and Castor can for sure. Vlad, Kuchiha and Hellboy are maybes (which will probably be manifested as "this person feels really weird, what the hell."). Maya, Lar'c, Tatsunoske are nos.

Kitty is welcome to see him as a Shin... I should probably also note that cats hate him and tend to run away from him. So |D haha

Hmmm. Doumeki will probably be able to see him as a Shin... but only sometimes. Out of one eye.

Daisy can see spirits and gravelings which is as otherworldly as things get in DLM, so I wouldn't mind playing that she can see him.

Dru is crazy and will probably feel his weirdness if that's ok (is the light realm actively holy in any way?)

Bela is crazy knowledgeable- how do you feel about her knowing the theory even if she can't personally see him?

Re Holy

That is actually a good question, and one that has not been addressed yet as far as the translations go. There may be something in the Chinese translations about it, but I'll have to hit up someone who can actually read Chinese to get that answered. Possibly.

Re Theory

She should be able to see him if she's aware of what a Shin is. I'm pretty sure that's how it's working in canon. :| I think.

Ok, might keep Dru away for the time being then. Baad reaction to the holy.

...so anybody with an open mind could see him?

Hm... Basically, once a person is made aware of the existence of something, they can no longer be ignorant of its existence. So basically the reason humans can't see Shin and shadow creatures is because they don't know they're there. If a person is aware of them, then theoretically, they should be able to see them, and can't go back to unseeing them.

Hmmm... I think the only one of mine who would be able to tell would be Mika.
