Of Summer Days Going By

I’ve been negligent. I haven’t been taking good notes on my life, and so now I’m disappointed. I often feel like I’m nothing without my past, and I won’t remember the details if I don’t bother to write them down. If I LiveJournal has only given me one thing, at least it’s been a place, a method, of preserving these unimportant memories of mine, so ( Read more... )

I. HATE. AYN. RAND. OMG. my mom made me read atlas shrugged. i hated it. ew. but if you got that out of her literature, cool beans.

i love the relationship you have with your mom. while all of our relationships with our moms are horrible and volatile, yours is so innocent. like, i can't believe you've never given the finger in front of your mom. i've done it millions of times. and my mom stopped being impulsive like your mom, i think when i turned six or so.

also, it's so great you have this guy. i know who he is by the way. i think you know i know, just saying "this guy" sounds so "i have no idea who you're talking about". anyway, WELCOME TO MY WORLD. i always feel like the horrible one in the group because everyone's always like, "we're completely uncorrupted and void of ex-boyfriends! oh, except kat." and i'm like, "...::blush::" because i haven't really done that much with guys, but still. i hope that didn't come off as pretentious. you know what i mean though, right? i hope you do.

WELL, i'm out like a deaf kid in musical chairs. LATA.

oh, and i was staying up past midnight when i was, like, four. XD ADD kids... AWAYYYYY!!!!!!

I don't have a volatile relationship with my mom! Giving the middle finger in front of your parents is just...I dunno, not to be stereotypical, but not in the culture at ALL.

She's right about the middle finger thing.

And in this case, the stereotype is correct. XDDDD

As far as I'm concerned, from what I've heard about Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead, the latter is considerably much better, but I'm sure that if you can't quite stomach one of her books, you'll hate all of them. I like her very much, and can see how my cousin was obsessed with her when he was younger, though I can see how he stopped being one of her ardent followers.

Haha, yeah, my mom rocks muchly a lot, and she expects a lot when it comes to my grades and extracirriculars, but I expect a lot of myself, and so it works out well. Heh. I should be grateful that I have her, though she can be overprotective at times, and anal...BUT STILL. I mean, yeah, good point, compared to most of the mother-daughter relationships I see...
XDDDDD;;;

But damn how my middle finger could have used more of a workout at an earlier age. ) :

How is it so great? It drives me insane. And I know you know. I told you at Zoe's, I think. During her party. Your world sounds like a confusing place to be, no offense, especially this section. At least I have a relatively clean slate, an no exes. I know what you mean; you're not being pretentious. XD

XDDDDDDDD Why am I not surprised that ASS kids are like that?
