Change of Seasons
Yo homies,
So i moved out of Sayville and i'm now living in brookly, Bay 43rd street Brooklyn NY 11214 to be exact for all you stalkers out there. I'm a non italian living in bensonhurst, but its cool. Our apartment is quite large, which is a nice change from A) my old apartment in Windsor Terrace and B) living in the parents house. We have a huge living room/Dining room which we have yet to fill with anything. Phil moves in sunday and he has the bulk of the stuff for the apartment so i've been living on pizza and chinese food this week. We did however order a 46" Samsung DLP Projection TV which should arrive within the next 4 hours today :) I'm pumped. I love big tv's and i love free cable and internet for said TV since i work for cablevision hehe.
My band is fucking awesome. Its amazing how just adding 1 new member, with different musical tastes, can completely alter the sound of a band. Not that it was bad before or anything, it was quite good actually. Before i came into the band it was a bass player, singer, drummer, and acoustic guitar. No electric guitar or anything, which gave the band a very dave matthews esque sound, although a tiny bit darker. I despise dave matthews, and i am more into the Metal, Hard Rock, Progressive thing. Think Van Halen, Dream Theater, Metallica, and 311 thrown into one and thats my style of playing. So bringing that into the band the sound took on a more rock driven powerful sound. I'm super excited to record a new demo, and start playing more shows. The first show went ok, sound issues, a couple mistakes, but it was really just a practice show anyway. Then we played fri september 22nd at Da Funky Phish in bayshore and it was killer. We sounded perfect, no missed notes, sound was good. The only bad thing was i was still all sick from the week and my beer fell off my guitar amp mid song. Other than that things are ok. Gotta work on my car more this winter cuz she needs a turbo rebuild since its blowing oil past the seals and giving my car a healthy puff of blue smoke in the morning when i first start it up and making it smell like ass while driving, and i'm gonna need to replace my clutch since its starting to slip once i hit boost. I figure i'll just garage my car for 2 or 3 weeks during the cold of the winter and tear it apart.
New south park was last night, it was hillarious. Simple, yet funny. That show is officially my most favoritest show ever. Every little thing makes me laugh. Like your face
