ugh, Im toooo lazy to proof read this... SO WARNING! for bad grammer and spelling.
Grad Breakfast:
Hilarious in every sense of the word. I got to hear Neon laugh the way she does which I haven't in a long had the privilage to in a long time before that (damned sentence structure). The food was pretty good, the company was amazing as always and the slide show was hilarious.
voted loudest person? no doubt : P
Afterwards, we all recived Gordonbell T-shirts and had a shirt signing fest. People who I hadn't talk to in months (some for a good reason) were signing my shirt and I was doing the same. It was as if Graduation made it so easy to through differences aside and just enjoy the moment with everyone,
Our Grad rehersal followed. This is when I learned I was not on the honor roll as I didn't recive gold cords. I think it came down to just one mark being to low. Art. Ouch. (Oh well)
We marched in the hot summer sun, practically melting on the step of westminster church once we got there. We were led inside the somewhat cool building where we practiced walking and accepting things.
Convocation:
NERVE RACKING. After meeting at the school for caps and gown and almost crying at the sight of my friends and myself in graduation garbs, we marched, once again, in the stupidly hot summer sun, in one layer of extra clothing, to the church. Where once again, we almost melted on the steps as parents and loved once snapped picture like the papparazzi. My mother had been crying (the good kind of crying) since she saw the first gold tasseled hat from her spot in the crowd.
I got a Citisenship award which is the schools way of telling me:
"Tyler, we can't give you a -REAL- award as your marks are toooooo low, but, since you're so cool and all the teachers like you, you are friends with and your marks arn't -that- bad, here is $150"
Thank you Midway Chrystler.
I went up got my award, sat down and waited, and waited, sang in the choir, and waited and waited, and sand in vocal jazz, and waited... Then I got up and took that educational runway to get my diploma.
It was wonderful.
I got to see alot of friends who I haven't in awile who came to see my graduate, also wonderful.
Grad Dinner and Dance.
Keeping this short and sweet (which after-grad/safe-grad wasn't)
Went to grad late, looked amazing, purchased 30 dollar underwear, got to grad late (needs to be said twice), saw everyone else looking equally if not more amazing, ate great food, admited I was a huge jerk on open mike and felt great for doing so, was less drunk then everyone thought, danced my ass off, made three wardrobe changes ( all equally wonderful looking), had some pretty awesome conversations with people who I thought didn't have souls, went to After-grad/Safe-grad where I was WAY to tired to function.
Got home at four, went to sleep, it was great.
So graduation has come and gone, Im not sure how to feel. The aquward lonliness is creeping in, icky.
