the only way to catch a butterfly is never waiting for the wings

I can't believe i forgot to mention this yesterday--after lunch and before the museum i looked out my window and saw one of those big inflatable bouncy houses for little kids, which had definitely not been there the night before. A bunch of us ran downstairs to check it out, and found out that the son the owners of the FMC was having his 9th birthday party later that day. They sent us out to bounce with the kids. So there's Karla, Katie, Dayle, and i bouncing and shrieking and laughing and falling on our bottoms with 4 8-years-olds. It was a very happy thing.

Today was a good day...shower, then i was gonna do h/w but Maria was like ":everyone's going to the changing of the guard" and I couldn't say no. Buckingham Schmuckingham, that was lame. i couldn't see anything, and i hated being among so many obnoxious tourists. Damn Americans.

We were walking by the Ritz and that made the girls want to watch Notting Hill, so Maria, Emily, Karla, and I watched that. then i did homework, then went to the post office (working on postcards all, be patient), then dinner. I did homework, then took a 2 1/2 hour nap because it felt good, then Maria, Karla, Katie, and I dyed Emily's hair "Funky Cherry". We have to leave the FMC by 7:30 tomorrow for an hour long train ride and classes until dinnertime, BLAH.
