What was your first anime?

I had thought that my first anime was Fatal Fury but I just recently found out that when I was much younger I had seen a movie that I thought was just American made, hell I didn't even know about anime back then. I wish I could find it on VHS or DVD, there's probably no DVD of it but still I only have it recorded on a tape, I'm watching it right now acutally.

It's called Andasen dôwa ningyo-hime aka 'The Little Mermaid (Princess?)'
