Firstly...I have onion breath that could kill...I might go up to small children and breathe on them I'm not sure...
Now on to the nitty gritty...
This last weekend was a whirlwind of awesome. We entertained our Portland Lovelies and partied until 4 in the morning on Friday, Saturday we had the most amazing Paella that our friend Julio prepares over an open fire in a 2 foot diameter pan (friggin ginormous) and Sunday I went out with my bestest fellers and Liz for burgers and political debates at my favorite bar Wimpy's afterwards for some kickass Wii!
Saturday was not only kickass for the amazing dinner with friends and paella (and wayyy too much sangria) but also because Tony bought me a Wii! I friggin love it. Not only am I boxing almost daily but I'm also getting out aggression from the workday and sleeping better too. Proof positive was last night after a lengthy kickass convo with the Pai I hopped on that sucker and boxed about 20 rounds! Needless to say my arms are a little sore. Nothing major since it wasn't that long but still, a bit of a workout!
This week has flown right on by. I've tried out a new amazing egg souffle recipe on monday, baked more corn muffins (from scratch mind you) and have kept up with the housework! Things are going preeetty awesome right now. Tony helped me make up our menu for the next week and a half so we can budget our food spendage a bit better. Tonight its Taco Salad of awesome, Tomorrow its spanish pork chops and green beans mmm. (spanish pork chops are named thusly due to a tastey spanish chorizo sauce topped on the chop)
Annnd I think I've decided I don't want to go to school this fall term. After planning a wedding, taking really hard classes and dealing with mummy dearest (including her 17 calls in a day BS), I think I deserve a break. Just work, play, rinse and repeat. Sure Tony is still playing World of Warcraft but it gives me an opportunity to at least get some of things I've been putting off done. Sure, I'll still want to spend time with him AND I think playing 7 hours last night was a bit excessive, but we're moving to baby steps for now. I want to paint more, make jewelry, read wonderful books, teach myself how to make bread, TONS of things that I didn't have time for while I was preparing to get married. Wellll that's not true I did paint a bit but I would like to take more time to do so and not rush through a piece. I've already taken baby steps towards baking with the corn muffins from scratch not a box adventure, so really how hard could pizza dough or wheat bread be? Nothing smells better than homemade bread and it'd be a challenging thing to take on that wouldn't be terribly expensive either. :)
Okay enough rambling back to the scarey onion breath and pretending to be busy.
