Hello darkness my old friend....
A fresh start is in order.
To do this I'll be disappearing for a while.
I'll hold out on saying where I'm going, but I think if you know me, you can probably figure it out. Its insanely beautiful there, very far away, and yet, the climate is just about the same. ...
So far the plan is 6 months, but it may be longer.
It just feels good to say that its official and in 53 days, I'll be gone, starting a new life somewhere else.
I'm also currently addicted to my Simon & Garfunkel 'The Essentials' 33 record. I think 'The Boxer' is one of the best songs ever written.
Other than that, just spending a lot of time learning more guitar, working, reading, and writing. I think I need to start selling off more of my shit.
I'm still heartbroken, horribly. I don't know how long it takes to get over this thing... I've heard it takes half the total time of the relationship to get over someone... so in this case we're looking at about 9 months. 3 of them have gone by, and I haven't quite stopped crying yet, so we'll see if that holds any merit.
