I made the one on the right, my mom made the one on the left. She got this book from the library full of crochet designs for critters like that. I've been charged with making a scythe out of sculpey for the Death that she's making after she finishes the corporate zombie

Amigurumi are the only reason I would ever want to take up crochet. That one is NOT helping me resist the urge.

The book is filled with adorable things to make. I'd be more tempted to try them myself, except that I really don't have time for yet another hobby.

I didn't bring any of those home. The only pipe cleaner critters that made it back were ones that I was hiding from the kids.
